Your new company Your new job working as an Open Market Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. Your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused, are growing in all areas and have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their North American team a permanent position in the London office as an Open Market Technician has arisen. Your new role Your new job working as an Open Market Technician means you will be responsible for checking formal documents (including, but not limited to, BIDs, Certificates, Endorsements, MRCs, Policies etc.) for accuracy and compliance prior to receipt by clients as well as preparing MRCs, certificates, endorsements and policies which fully reflect the intent of the Insurance. You will also be submitting policy documentation to signing offices (both bureaux and non-bureaux) where required. Other duties will include producing debit/credit notes, processing premiums where required and handling signing office and client queries in respect of both policy and premium issues where required. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Technician handling North American open market and your knowledge of North American Business preferred will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have proven experience in dealing with North American Open Market insurance. You will have high attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be confident in your interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult and influence at all levels. You will be confident in your ability to develop effective working relationships externally and internally. You will be able to manage and control your own personal effectiveness, including time management and priority setting during this role.
