About The Role As Training Consultant you will have the experience, knowledge and passion to deliver classroom training and courseware development for all appropriate areas of QA's course portfolio relating to open source web design and development. About the Person * Deliver both public scheduled and bespoke courses in the open source web design and development curriculum * To achieve the required quality targets as set by the Company and determined by delegate evaluations * To take responsibility for developing and maintaining agreed courses * To maintain an up-to-date skills base through personal development and accreditation activities * To complete professional certifications as appropriate * To work with clients to create courses and courseware for their internal bespoke requirements in web design and development * To support Sales and other internal departments with specialist advice and support on an ad-hoc basis Your Skills & Experience * Candidate for this role will need to be familiar with the open source web development stack and will demonstrate knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript as a core skill set. * They will have also have at least three of the following skills as supporting knowledge: * JavaScript frameworks to expert knowledge including jQuery * Linux, Unix or OS X command line skills including tools such as NPM, apt-get, Brew, Grunt, Bower or Yeoman. * Single Web Page Application libraries such as Angular or Ember * Responsive Web Design - including use of frameworks such as ZURB Foundation or Bootstrap * Advanced CSS skills including full life cycle of UX/UI development from wireframe to production * UX Analysis & Design skills - including use if effective design methodologies, testing strategies and user experience modelling * Ruby & Ruby on Rails - full application development preferably through MVC patterns * Python - application and service development * Node.JS - construction of Node applications including testing and maintenance * MongoDB - setting up, testing and developing MongoDB data tiers or suitable NoSQL alternative
