Front End Developer / Designer (Hybrid Role) Poole, Dorset £25000 - £35000 Benefits Please note my client cannot offer VISA sponsorship for this position. Your new company I've been engaged by a specialist Digital business based in Poole to recruit a creative with Front End and Web Design skills in equal measure. You'll be working with a global A-Grade client list for an award-winning company that have really carved out a niche. Not only this, but you'll be able to learn from some true experts in the field of Digital form the local area as part of this role. Your new role The variety of solutions they offer is broad and you'll perform a crucial role amongst other designers, developers, UX and project managers to take a site from nice to wow This role is hybrid and you'll be the linchpin that handles the standard transfer from design to build, then taking the pages further creatively speaking (parallax scrolling, animation states etc). You'll need to balance time across multiple projects concurrently (builds can be a month, or a year). The successful applicant will relish meeting deadlines and ticking off projects, but will not be overly attached to structure and will have a pragmatic view around iterating throughout the process. You'll be joining a friendly and talented team that's 15 and growing, predominantly holding technical roles. They hold a core belief that work/life balance is of the upmost importance for a happy and efficient team, actively freeing up plenty of time for social connection in the hours of what other companies might call 'overtime'. What you'll need to succeed We're looking for someone equally happy working with JavaScript/jQuery Bootstrap HTML/CSS as they are across the Adobe Creative Suite and working with motion graphics, animated SVG's etc. The exact tools used are open to suggestion and change over time, so it's more about comfortability learning new skills quickly. You don't need experience with back end PHP/MySQL or CMS systems like WordPress from day 1 but will understand how these feature in the build process. You will have a portfolio / URL's to show and discuss with the hiring managers. What you'll get in return They role will be predominantly in the office, but with flexitime and some home working where necessary.
