Front End Developer Poole, Dorset £25000 - £35000 Benefits Please note my client cannot offer VISA sponsorship for this position Your new company I've been engaged by a specialist Digital business based in Poole to recruit a Front-End Developer. You'll be working with a global A-Grade client list for an award-winning company that have really carved out a niche. Not only this, but you'll be able to learn from some true experts in the field of Digital form the local area as part of this role. Your new role The variety of solutions they offer is broad and you'll constantly work with designers and back end developers to complete projects, it's about active communication and a proactive team effort. You'll need to balance time across multiple projects concurrently (builds can be a month, or a year). A Developer that enjoys overly structured work isn't right, but someone who relishes meeting deadlines and ticking off projects, with a pragmatic view to understand that you need to iterate throughout the build process would be perfect. You'll be joining a friendly and talented team that's 15 and growing, predominantly holding technical roles. They hold a core belief that work/life balance is of the upmost importance for a happy and efficient team, actively freeing up plenty of time for social connection in the hours of what other companies might call 'overtime'. What you'll need to succeed We're looking for a Front End Developer with a passion for emerging tech. You must be proficient with JavaScript/HTML/CSS and will have a portfolio / URL's to show and discuss with the hiring managers. Beyond this there's modern JS frameworks in play, but you do not need Angular, Knockout, Vue.js etc right away, as the flavour they use changes. You'll be able to demonstrate a real competency with Front End tech including Git, Grunt, LESS/SASS and may have exposure to PHP/MySQL stack to support this. You don't need experience using CMS systems from day 1, but will understand this is a part of the role and will show a willingness to learn and push WordPress. What you'll get in return They role will be predominantly in the office, but with flexitime and some home working where necessary.
