Job Title: SUPPORT WORKER /HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT Hours: FULL TIME Location: WILLINGHAM Pay Rate: £9.70 per hour Our Client is looking for an energetic and positive support worker to join their friendly and welcoming team at their residential home in Willingham. The home has a welcoming and friendly environment that supports adults with learning difficulties and some complex needs and challenging behaviours, it is set in 13 acres of farm land and has recently expanded with an additional single service which means they are now needing to grow their team. There is a selection of vacancies available which are: Senior Support Worker, Support Worker and Waking Nights. The shift pattern is as follows: Early shifts 07:30-14:30 Late shifts 14:30-21:30 Waking night shifts are 21:30-07:30 Every other weekend off Rated "Good" by CQC in 2017, the service is home to sheep, geese, ducks, rabbits, dogs and a lizard - not to mention 9 fantastic male service users who have a diagnosis of learning and physical disabilities, mental health issues and PWS. The service users are incredibly active and often spend time kite flying, picking apples and various other forms of horticulture. They also enjoy going to the local day centre where they attend computer groups, and popping into to the local village - especially the tearooms. There is limited public transport so car drivers are preferable.
