Overview
Young Person Support Worker – Full Time Temp to Perm I am recruiting for Young Person Support Workers to work within housing projects to ensure the welfare of the young people. My client is a large provider to help support and guide vulnerable young people and to encourage a supportive and nurturing environment. They are semi-independent living services and promoting independence is a key part of the role. You will be contributing to the progress and development of the young people and monitoring the individual support plans. Requirements: You will maintain a nurturing, positive and safe living environment within the unit, in order to meet the needs of the Young People. You will be alert to the needs, safety and wellbeing of the Young People. Responsibilities include: You will have worked in a care setting with young adults previously Possess excellent people skills Have a passion for supporting young people with emotional behavioural difficulties Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships Be able to demonstrate positive personal authority Have great communication skills Driver with own transport due to rural locations Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
