Overview
Position: Quality Controller Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 Benefits: 20-25 days holiday (dependant on service) Statutory Free Parking Kitchen Facilities Early Friday Finishes Job Type: Full-time Hours: 40 hours per week: Monday - Friday with the option to split hours into 4 or 5 days Location: Oldham Description: Our client is one of the biggest sheet metal subcontractors in the North West operating from a 150000sqft state of the art modern facility, just off junction 21, M60. Manufacturing Quality is the second priority to our customer after safety. The ideal candidate will fully appreciate and apply lean principles. They are looking for a confident, experienced Quality Controller who has ideally had prior experience in sheet metal or flat/torsion/tension spring manufacturing. Roles & Responsibilities: First Article Inspection Process (Completing First Article (AS9102) Inspection report) - Control Plans - 8D and 5 Why - NCR process (record in ERP) - Internal Audits (AS9100 and ISO 9001) - Controlling and initiating change requests - Goods inward inspection of deliveries - Controlling and initiating change requests - Developing Process Control Plans and FMEA. Other skills we'd like you to have include: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office - PPAP/FMEA understanding - Good Communication Internal and External customers - ability to read Engineering Drawings, LEAN.
