Experienced Management Accountant

Mpeople Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a wonderful business in Oldham. Full-Time Permanent Position £35k-£40k (depending on qualifications & experience) On-site Parking This role would be ideal for an experienced Management Accountant who would be ready to step into the level of a Financial Controller. You will be reporting to the company Director and be responsible for 2 members of staff within the Accounts function. Responsibilities include: * Month end management accounts * Managing balance sheets * Profit & Loss * Prepayments & Accruals * Fixed Assets * Variance analysis * Budgeting & Forecasting * VAT Returns * Management of 2 monthly payrolls * Overseeing 2 members of staff within the accounts team Experience & Skill Requirements: * Experience working in a similar role (3 years minimum) * Qualified or part qualified in ACCA or CIMA is highly desired * Ability to work autonomously * Payroll experience desirable * Management experience would be beneficial * Strong Excel skills: ability to do Pivots tables & VLOOKUP's * Experience on Sage software will essential If you would like to apply for this role, please click the link below or send your email direct to Sophie at sophie@mpeople-recruitment.com , alternatively call 0161 622 9899 to discuss further.
