Overview
Head Of Finance & Facilities Up to 50K BENS Working for this amazing Animal Charity based in London. As a member of the Senior Management Team you will provide a comprehensive financial and facilities management service for the organisation in accordance with the charity's objectives and direction. Develop, oversee and provide overall financial direction and supervision for the organisation; Fully participate in the strategic planning and budget preparation relating to the financial direction of the organisation; Maintain the integrity and efficiency of the charity's financial accounting processes and systems, ensuring effective internal controls are in place; Provide regular financial reports for the CEO & Board of Trustees, including monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts, cash flow forecasts, reserves forecasts and risk updates Oversee the monthly payroll process and the preparation of quarterly VAT returns Act as the main point of contact with the organisation's auditors, manage the year-end audit and prepare the annual statutory Trustees' Report and Accounts Manage key relationships with the organisation's appointed banks, auditors, landlords, outsourced partners, suppliers etc.; Carry out company secretarial responsibilities ensuring timely filing of all necessary returns and documents with Companies House, the Charity Commission, HMRC and other governmental / regulatory bodies Attend all Board meetings, providing advice and direction to the Trustees when required Liaise with the insurance provider to ensure adequate insurance cover is in place for the organisation's assets, staff, volunteers and operations at all times.
