JOB TITLE: IT Service Desk Technician (IT Helpdesk) LOCATION: Taunton Outskirts (Easily commutable by car from Taunton, Wellington and Chard) SALARY: Meets National Minimum Wage HOURS: 9am - 5:30pm The Company: Friendly, down to earth, supportive and progressive insurance company who really value their employees. The Role: You will be joining a dedicated team of IT support staff passionate about delivering high quality, reliable and maintainable systems. Your main mission will be to ensure that all employees are provided with the best IT services possible. A day in the life of your new role: First point of contact for all IT Support queries both internally and externally Day to day support for 250-300 desk based employees Management and distribution of helpdesk tickets Asset Management 1st tier technical support Change control processes Software management Documentation process We would love to hear from candidates who have: Knowledge of MS Office and MS Windows Excellent communication and organisational skills Either a passion for IT or relatable qualification This role will suit you if you are able to support others with technical / IT related issues in a calm and supportive manner. This experience may have come from employment / personal or educational practice.
