Overview
An amazing opportunity to join one of Europe's most exciting Venture Capital firms. They invest into cutting edge tech focused start-ups and are known for their transparent, and collaborative approach when partnering with their investee businesses. This is a very rare opportunity to partner closely with senior stakeholders and enabling them to make effective, analytically driven and strategic investment decisions. Your work will impact investment decisions across new and existing portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Conduct insightful analysis using internal and external data (e.g. companies, market financings, financials) to originate insights that will support firm decisions. Play a key role in implementing operational initiatives. Collaborating with partners and investment team in execution. Support a proprietary database to provide a comprehensive view of the market and enable the efficient management of the investment pipeline. Design better processes with the investments team & partners to ensure smooth running of weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews (e.g. pipeline status, quarterly investment reviews). Focus on continuous improvement through automation and technology. Drive key projects and initiatives to identify investment opportunities & support the portfolio. Key Experience: Experience solving problems and providing practical insights from data, with strong commercial/ business acumen. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - can communicate key insights and recommendations to diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and rigour, can-do attitude. Strong proficiency in Excel/ G-Sheets with demonstrated experience in building excel models to solve business problems end-to-end. Ability to manage multiple projects. Be a true team-player and effectively time-manage and prioritize under pressure. Experience with SQL/ Tableau/ Looker/ visualization and analytic tools, is a plus. Qualifications: Minimum 2.1 in a quantitative field from a top tier University 3-5 experience in a quantitative field in consulting, strategic planning, sales/ business/ marketing operations role. Experience in product development, from defining features/ prioritisation to interacting with developers - is a plus.
