IBA Accountant- City of London- Growing insurance broker Your new company This is a small independent Lloyds insurance broker who are going through steady growth. With modern offices and a real family feel they provide an excellent working environment. Due to their growth there is now a newly created opportunity for a junior accounts professional with insurance sector experience to join the finance department. Your new role This is a new role assisting the FC in the running of the IBA function . You will eventually take full responsibility of this function and have scope to take on more Reviewing statements and commenting on o/s premiums Usage of Online Banking and Processing payments Matching cash for client and underwriters accounts Ensuring information is kept up to date on the inhouse system Assisting with raising client, underwriter and claim payments Resolving queries promptly Assisting with CASS Reconciliations Assisting the Finance Director with adhoc projects and systems projects Investigate and query un-allocated and unidentified receipts What you'll need to succeed You will need to have previous experience working within the finance department in an insurance business. Previous IBA experience or Credit control experience in a broker would be a huge advantage.
