Paralegal - Commercial Litigation A leading city law firm are recruiting a litigation paralegal to join their impressive commercial litigation team. Salary £32,000 plus great benefits. What will the paralegal do? You’ll be needed to provide paralegal support to a partner and two senior associates in the litigation team as they deal with a substantial litigation caseload. Along with one other paralegal and the trainee solicitor, you’ll work on a highly varied caseload where you will be asked to take part in the whole investigation and litigation process. This can include but is not limited to: Disclosure requests and document review Liaising with stakeholders including major investment banks, large commercial organisations, as well as updating clients and internal stakeholders Setting up data rooms and indexing disclosure Drafting letters, memos, and applications under supervision Assembling trial bundles and attending court The trainee will be rotating out of this department later this month, so you’ll be taking on a range of trainee-level work. You can build your paralegal experience in a team that will get you heavily involved in all stages of the litigation process, and handling work beyond the scope of most paralegal roles. The firm is well known for their progression and training opportunities, and will consider internal applications before external. A fab salary of £32,000 Requirements: Prior litigation paralegal experience is a must, ideally in a role where you have handled work from matter inception through to completion. LPC graduates will also be preferred in this position. All candidates must have a strong academic history, including a minimum 2:1 at degree level, in either Law or with a GDL conversion.
