Customer Accounts Coordinator Portsmouth Context Recruitment are proud to be partnering with one of the largest and most trusted apprenticeship training providers in Hampshire with a proven track record spanning over 40 years. Our Portsmouth based client is looking for an experienced customer service professional to join them as a Customer Accounts Coordinator . Our client's passion is in delivering the highest possible service to their customers, and they pride themselves on their innovative approach and the practical services which they offer to install new knowledge and confidence in the people they support. What will you be doing? As the Customer Account Coordinator, you be responsible for managing the contract with a local employer / provider who have recently selected our client as their subcontracting organisation. You will support and coordinate the administration of a large employer subcontractor to help implement a successful internal apprenticeship programme. The role involves the efficient processing of apprenticeship paperwork including eligibility checks and processing the monthly financial claim to the ESFA. There will be regular direct engagement with customers both internal and external on a face-to-face, telephone or email so the enthusiasm and the ability to confidently communicate and engage with customers is an essential part of the role. Your main responsibilities will include: Manage the employer subcontracting relationship and maintain the effective contract management information systems, undertaking periodic reviews to ensure that it meets the requirements of the employer and ESFA funding rules. To conduct eligibility checks on the potential apprentice documentation to ensure that apprentices are eligible to receive government funding and documentation complies with the ESFA funding rules. Conduct internal audits of GFT activity ensuring all contractual paperwork is completed accurately and will meet all audit and quality requirements in line with ESFA funding rules. Produce monthly financial and statistical information Conduct apprentice progress reviews in line with the employers' planned schedule and evidence progress made towards the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours of the Apprenticeship Standard. Support Teaching and Learning observation visits on the delivery of the training and report back to the Contracts and Claims Manager on any potential concerns. Continuous support to ensure that the employer meets Ofsted, ESFA and End Point Assessment requirements. Implementing, advising and supporting new processes as required. Evaluate the success of the programme and work with the employer to explore ways in which improvements can be made if necessary. To develop professional relationships with the employer and contribute to the success of their apprenticeship programme. What is our client looking for? Essential requirements for this role: GCSE Maths and English Grade C (4) or above Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and to stay calm under pressure Organisational skills - ability to plan time effectively Excellent interpersonal skills and strong at building relationships at all levels Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Internet Explorer proficient The ability to be proactive and work on own initiative Strong administration skills with the ability to prioritise demanding workloads Confidence to deal with all aspects of customer service Desirable requirements for this role: Knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules Knowledge of Ofsted requirements Experience of working with an Apprenticeship Training Provider What do you get out of it? In return for your hard work our client offers a competitive salary of between £24,000 and £25,000 per year, depending on experience . Working hours are 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (with an hour for lunch).
