Overview
CHILDREN'S SOCIAL WORKER - REFERRAL AND ASSESSMENT - ENFIELD Service Care Solutions are looking for a Qualified Children's Social Worker to be a part of the Referral and Assessment Team at Enfield Council. The role is to provide assessment, care management and social work services to disabled children and their families, arising out of the council's duties and powers under legislation, Council and Group Policy. This is a temporary position. PAY RATE - £31.15 Ltd p/h CONTRACT - 3 month HOW TO APPLY - If you are interested in this role, send your CV now to Jennifer at jennifer.lynchservicecare.org.uk or alternatively call 01772 208964 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE •Degree in Social Work or equivalent •HCPC Registered •Communication skills in direct work with children and proven ability to work in partnership with parents/carers, ensuring that children's needs are paramount •Successful completion of Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) •DBS at enhanced level ROLE REQUIREMENTS •To carry out assessments and undertake care management in the area of specialism (disabled children and their families) •To make recommendations for service provision in accordance with the Children services threshold and eligibility criteria •To manage, monitor and review care plans, involving disabled children and young people and their families, and liaising with other workers and agencies as appropriate •To make use of management information systems, including information technology, in the recording, retrieval and analysis of information required •To undertake any other appropriate duties commensurate with the post as directed by the Team Manager of Centre Manager •To undertake the preparation of reports, statements and such other legal documents as may be required in relation to children Family Proceeding Courts, within the relevant time-scales to attend Court and represent the Children Services.
