Role: Senior Financial Planner Location: Manchester Salary: Up to £40,000 Bonus Benefits Our client, a well-established and successful financial planning practice, is seeking a senior financial planner to join their team. As the successful candidate, you will be working with a mixture of private and corporate clients, throughout the North West, on a variety of client options including; holistic financial planning, lifetime cashflow forecasting, wealth creation, optimisation and protection, tax mitigation strategies for private clients and tax efficient cash extraction strategies for corporate clients. Key Responsibilities Provide a thorough and high level of service to all clients while ensuring that all advice given is measured and constantly reviewed. Ensuring that a full review is provided to the firm’s administration and paraplanning team so that they can provide you with full assistance and detailed client reports. Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes. Identify/contact clients in accordance with the business plan and supervisor’s guidance. Ensure that relevant disclosure processes are followed in a positive clear and timely fashion. Ensure enough client information (KYC) is obtained and that the analysis of this information informs suitable recommendations. Undertake detailed, relevant product and market research in order to identify the most suitable client solution where appropriate. Ensure suitable recommendations are made and communicated clearly and simply. Ensure that regular ongoing client reviews are managed and conducted in a timely fashion to the required standard, supported by the required documentation. Ensure records are detailed and comprehensive and that documentation is held securely via the firm’s back office system in a timely fashion. Attain and maintain a high level of competence. Ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately and that a current statement of professional standing is always held. Comfortable working in a team-based environment where all administration and paraplanning is provided. Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience Minimum of Diploma in regulated financial planning (or equivalent). Consistent track record of superior productivity levels. Established client bank and a good network of connections. CAS status within the last six months. Current SPS. Able to successfully meet regulatory vetting and approvals process.
