This is an exciting time to join one of the fastest growing FinTech organisation’s in the UK as it formulates and develops a risk-based approach to Information Security. It is essential that you have proven Information Security experience for this role, potentially looking for your next step into a more senior role. You will be a confident self-starter and subject matter expert within the business that is advising and leading the way with the development of an organisation-wide, customer-focused, compliance model. Amongst other skills, you need to be a creative thinker and an excellent problem solver, who can understand the theories of compliance, but with the ability to creatively introduce it to the organisation. As the Information Security Manager, you will be: - Taking ownership of Information Security policy & issues. Recognised as the subject matter expert. Providing a strategic view and reporting to the Board on all matters relating to Information Security Leading and managing responses to security breaches. A hands-on policy developer. Able to think creatively. Able to develop strong stakeholder relationships. Continually strengthening and testing the company’s controls around information security Your Skills and Experience Familiarity with Information Security standards. Risk Management and Compliance. Quality Management (eGRC). Knowledge of technical security vulnerabilities, risks and issues. CISSP or CISM qualifications would be an advantage. IPS & IDS experience is a distinct advantage but essential CEH Certifications (nice to have) Salary £80,000-£100,000 per annum equity benefits
