Sourcing Executive (Buyer) – Competitive Benefits – Milton Keynes The Role Do you have the drive to take responsibility for enabling an innovative and leading eCommerce packaging supplier to continue achieving best pricing? Carlton Packaging are seeking a Sourcing Executive to turnaround pricing requests and manage the recording of quotes. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the successful candidate will maintain strong relationships with Suppliers whilst also ensuring purchasing prices are the best available, thereby playing a key part in Carlton Packaging’s ongoing growth. The key responsibilities of a Sourcing Executive at Carlton Packaging include, but are not limited to: Sourcing new products across all categories. Recording quote requests; promptly and accurately responding to Requests for Quotes. Close liaison with Stock Managers and Supply Planners to ensure specifications meet customer requirements, and that purchase quantities and supplier conformances meet with Company policy. The Person The key skills and qualities of a Sourcing Executive at Carlton Packaging: The successful candidate must be educated to A-Level, with experience in purchasing and negotiation (ideally within the packaging sector). Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills required. The successful candidate must have strong time management and the ability to multi-task. The ability to learn quickly, as training will be provided on product knowledge.
