Overview

The role of the Global Production and Sourcing Coordinator (12 - FTC) is to support the Sourcing Team with PO placement for SMS / bulk production. You will work closely Global Production, Logistics, Customer Service, and Sales to meet customer requirements. Additionally, work closely with the Head of Sourcing to execute operational goals. Responsibilities - Production Work closely with Apparel development to make sure production tech packs have been clearly reviewed with the sourcing team before purchase orders are placed. Ensure order purchase data (delivery dates, pricing, and ship mode) is reviewed and maintained to provide timely and accurate information to entire organisation. Review purchase requisitions on a weekly basis to ensure all product needs are executed. Accurately identifies purchase reqs (ME5A), sources of supply, and converts reqs to purchase orders (ME59N). Communicate with Global partners requirements to ensure on time bulk production of Seasonal booking programmes, Stock and SMU buys Review delivery extension requests with Apparel Sourcing Manager to determine best course of action for product not meeting the desired time and action calendar. Work closely with Quality to resolve any product quality issues occurring during production. Ensure production time and action calendars are followed and critical milestones are met. Produce internal reports highlighting WIP status Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviours Through experience, you must be able to demonstrate acquired skill and measurable success in: Understanding the needs and expectations of internal customers, employ diplomacy and tact, and work well in a team environment Able to think and act cross-functionally as well as communicate consistently with the needs of the business Must be Proficient in SAP Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels of staff and outside customers /suppliers Understand the order entry process of distinct product categories, and the impact on global production. Time management: Ability to organise and prioritise multiple projects. Demonstrate proactive problem solving and a sense of urgency and persistence Able to think through the details and contingencies of options and plans and make sound business decisions. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (ability to develop modelling tools and manage spreadsheets) Education Bachelors Degree level education We regret that we are unable to acknowledge every application.
