Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen in house for a Legal Adviser. The company is a membership body and as part of the service they provide their members can receive legal advice on a range of matters. Queries can relate to a whole range of matters, with an emphasis on employment law, these include IR35, GDPR/data protection, tax, corporate or company secretarial matters. The members range from start-ups to small-medium sized companies and rely on the legal advice they receive from the Advisors. The successful Employment Law Advisor can look forward to building strong relationships with clients, performing legal research and providing both oral and written advice on a daily basis. Applications are welcome from candidates who have completed the LLB / GDL and who really enjoy client contact and legal research. Any exposure to employment law would be extremely beneficial. This Legal Adviser role would take you down a separate career path away from a training contract and would suit someone who has decided being a solicitor isn't for them but they want to use their legal knowledge. An excellent training programme is in place for the body’s Legal Advisers, which usually takes around 6 months. The team are friendly and have a very supportive and inclusive culture, they are also keen to offer agile working.
