Overview

Infrastructure Solutions Architect - City of London Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading investment bank (150,000 employees over 50 countries worldwide) for an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to develop compelling Infrastructure solutions for business & technology projects. Role & Responsibilities: • Engage with platform and delivery leads to ensure sufficient Infrastructure capacity to meet in house project and BAU programme deliverables, and highlight to Infrastructure & Project management any risks or issues that may arise. • Ensure new/changed services are transitioned in accordance with operational readiness procedures • Produce high quality technical documentation required during the delivery and service transition phases of projects & BAU initiatives. • Work with Enterprise architects and Infrastructure leads to assist with defining and publishing common infrastructure patterns. • Work with Project Managers establishing network of relationships with internal stakeholders. • Act as Senior Infrastructure Engineer, to support the successful & timely delivery of BAU workloads and business projects Essential Skills & Experience: • 5 years' experience as a Windows Infrastructure SME in financial services. • 3 years' experience as an Infrastructure solutions architect, demonstrating multi-discipline expertise • Experience of delivering key projects across multiple locations (EMEA, AMER or APAC ideally) • Broad technical knowledge of Cloud platform technologies and experience in delivering Cloud, ideally Azure, based SaaS integrating into on premise infrastructure • Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management technology solutions • Senior Windows / AD / Exchange Engineer background • VMware • SAN • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to all levels & backgrounds Desirable: • Experience of successfully delivering Infrastructure projects in a M&A environment • Okta • Nutanix • Cisco • Citrix Package: • Circa £85k-£90k basic salary • Annual bonus (10-15%) • 12.5% of salary flexible benefits - pension / training / private medical/ etc. • other extensive banking benefits Infrastructure Solutions Architect - City of London This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/89935935
