Actively seeking a pro-active and energetic Junior Account Manager / Sales Executive ideally with some Electronics experience An exciting opportunity has just opened to join a global organisation which has nearly 50 years' experience in Telecom and IT test and measurement industry. The primary responsibility of the opportunity is responding to enquiries from existing customers, predominantly mid-market and enterprise businesses; contacting C-level executives, buyers and technical engineers to develop well qualified opportunities. Understand businesses drivers and evaluate customers' needs. Work with designated Field Engineer to develop, document and implement a territory business plan for key areas and in-line with the corporate prevailing strategy. All with the aim of achieving commercial annual targets set for a designated territory or territories which will be across the UK sand EMEA. The successful candidate will partake in an extensive induction programme, this will include sales, commercial and technical product training. As with other people who have joined the business the individual will have an opportunity to progress within the organisation at an exponential rate if they desire, remuneration will be adjusted accordingly. To apply we are looking for the following: - 1-2 year's experience in technology sales. - Or a A-Level / Technical Degree educated. Key Skills - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. - Research and absorb key products and solutions. - Effective time management between reactive and proactive tasks. - Clear and concise telephone manner. - Understanding of company hierarchical structures. - Tenacity and determination to achieve mandated targets. - Knowledge of Microsoft suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. - Organisational skills, utilising technology. - Prior use of Sales Force or similar CRM system is desirable. On offer: - Basic salary: £25,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience. - First year OTE:£35k - £40k - 23 days holiday. - 5% Pension contribution. - Private health-care package.
