Overview

Harvey Nash are working with a global leader who are looking for a BI Development Manager to join the team. This is a great opportunity to work as a Development Manager, leading a dynamic data and analytics team based in the UK with responsibility for the strategic development and maintenance of Data & Integration services across a number of products, business lines and internal functions. This role and his/her team will collaborate with the wider Data and Development teams in the design and build of sustainable, pragmatic solutions aligned to the company technology strategy. The Development Manager will be responsible for leading the data delivery of global projects and initiatives and will be required to: Deliver high quality data services that address the business need and purpose and that fully satisfy detailed requirements, stories and test cases - functional and non-functional Proactively engage in a responsive Agile culture of excellence in delivery and service Contribute to informed architectural decisions and be responsible and accountable for outcomes Key accountabilities: Accountable for a cross skilled team with the ability to lead, coach, develop, motivate and inspire a team of technical experts Responsible for leading the build, enhancement, evolution and maintenance of our Data and Integration systems, in a role that involves the delivery of new systems and capabilities Work with multiple stakeholders to embed systems into commercial and cross-functional departments, through effective change and delivery methods Provide strong leadership and clear vision to a team of technical specialists, whilst also playing a significant role in shaping the Data team and strategy for the future Member of the Extended Data leadership team Given the nature of the role this can be office based or flexible with remote working.
