Overview
Role: Senior Technical Accountant location: Newbury Salary: up to £75,000 DOE Bonus Keywords/Skills: Review, Preparation, Implementation, IFRS, ACA DISCLAIMER A successful candidate will have a strong background in Review, Preparation, and Implementation of IFRS Reporting. Ideal candidates will also have an ACCA/ACA CertIFR qualification, however, this is a desirable addition. As Senior Technical Accountant the key responsibilities include: · Strong experience in IFRS Reporting, reviewing, and Implementation. · Support and communicate the development, setting and maintenance of IFRS financial accounting and reporting policies group-wide, including technical input to the Group accounting policy manual; · Interpret and implement new IFRS developments/standards, including assisting with the project management and oversight of significant changes in standards impacting the Group; · Support the Group's reporting processes, including the development of the IFRS financial statement and advice on preparing external disclosure notes; · Provide internal and ad-hoc training and advice on technical accounting, new developments and standards; and · Provide technical accounting and program management leadership and support for ongoing and new projects Experience Required: · ACA accounting qualification, or overseas equivalent (CPA) · Outstanding analytical skills (financial modeling) · Project management and leadership · Proven technical knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
