Overview
Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be able to bring an exciting new Finance Manager job opportunity to market for a highly reputable distribution company, this is a new role that has been created following the acquisition of a new business by the Group. This is a stand-alone finance role in which you will have full responsibility for the finance function for the newly acquired business. The main duties for this role are: Implementing new processes and procedures Accounts payable and credit control functions Ownership of the statutory reporting/auditing Cash Flow management Responsible for budgets and forecasting Group wide- management accounting The ideal candidate will have: An ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification Strong communication skills Excellent IT skills- advanced Excel skills Previous experience in a similar role This company are looking for an individual who can drive the finance team and really take ownership of the finance function. Experience within the manufacturing would be desirable but is not necessary. The successful individual will also be highly motivated, inquisitive and tenacious with a strong knowledge of excel.
