Overview
A law firm I have partnered with for a number of years have recently gone through a total HR function restructure and, on the back of this, are now looking for a new HR Business Partner. Reporting into an experienced legal Head of HR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the people agenda is a priority with senior stakeholders and will support the partnership through the ongoing changes. You will be aligned to a fee-earning population and, with support from a well-established and exceptionally-perceived wider HR team, you will be relied upon to deliver a first-class HR service. The practice areas are looking for someone to take them on a journey; subtly coach them, suggest new ideas and offer strategic advice. You will work alongside other experienced HR Business Partners so you will have a close-knit peer group. Given the firm have recently gone through elements of change, a background in HR Business Partnering will stand you in good stead, particularly if you have spent time within a law firm. It would also be helpful if you possess excellent stakeholder, upward management and persuasion skills. Alternatively, a background working as an HR Business Partner within financial services would also provide useful experience, due to the practice areas you would likely be aligned to in this role (banking/finance/tax).
