Overview
A leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services based in Liverpool is currently looking for an experienced and pro-active Business Advisory Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part or fully ACA or ACCA qualified individual, or for somebody with significant relevant experience to prepare statutory accounts for audited entities. The successful candidate will have strong UK financial reporting experience covering complex accounting assignments to include consolidations. The Accounting and Business Advisory Supervisor will be responsible for: Ensuring jobs are complete to the highest standard within the internal budget, and to discuss all material points arising on the assignment with the manager/ partner and client Plan assignments to accordance with the firm’s standard procedures and confirm arrangements with the client, including likely costs and billing arrangements Step up to a Supervisory role on assignments when required Brief junior staff on the clients business and pre-assignment instructions, to supervise and control the completion of work Perform the firm’s review and completion procedures, ensuring the client receives the final accounts, management letter and adjustment to opening balances Liaise with clients to practice principles of excellent client service Liaise with all other departments, ensuring all potential client needs are identified and serviced accordingly Look for opportunities to cross sell and undertake in response to clients’ needs Maintain advanced level of technical knowledge and fulfil any development requirements Essential Requirements are: Part or fully ACA or ACCA qualified individual, or for somebody with significant relevant experience. Good understanding of UK financial reporting requirements Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and to add value Well-Developed people skills, strong communication and time management skills Strong accounts production skills Knowledge and experience of working within an Audit department If this role is of interest, please apply using the link below.
