A well-established local architectural practice are looking for a chartered Architect Your new company A well-established and recognised architectural practice in the local area who work on residential projects, including but not limited to; refurbishments, conversions and extensions, carrying out work from feasibility studies through to full package design and build projects. The company pride themselves on the services they provide and have witnessed growth over the last few years based on repeat business and recommendations as a result. Your new role This opportunity is for a chartered Architect, with experience working on residential projects, who will be working with the Architectural Technologist, and assisting the Director with the various project they currently have on-going, as well as being heavily involved with the projects which are currently waiting to be processed. What you'll need to succeed The company works in AutoCAD and Revit, and experience using this software will be necessary. A good knowledge of current UK building regulations and CDM regulations will also be a necessity. An understanding of submitting planning applications is desirable but not required. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal input required and be able to professionally engage with persons on all levels, as the management of projects from start to completion is also a requirement of the role. Regular meetings are held onsite with the main contractor and the client, and any issues which arise are to be resolved swiftly to ensure all relevant parties are satisfied.
