Data Engineer - Azure Data Lake from scratch, Big Data We are looking for a Data Engineer to join an engineering team aiming to build an Azure Data Lake from scratch. The company are on a journey to revolutionise the fintech and banking sector. The successful Data Engineer will provide guidance and technical expertise to both the tech team as well as the business on how to design & deliver an Azure Data Lake from scratch, ensuring hte solution is slick and enables them to report on any event within the business. Data Engineer - About you Experience successfully implementatig big data solutions within microservice architectures Have a focus on automation and CI/CD tools Ability to include various requirements such as security, reliability & performance in the final solution Prior experience delivering Big Data solutions in previous roles Technical expertise within: Azure data lake, event grid, event hub, azure stream analytics, Azure Data Factory, Any experience in .NET / C# is a massive bonus Ideal experience: Exposure to Power BI or related reporting tools Scala / Python are secondary programming languages - very desirable As well as the technical aspect of the role, we're also looking for motivated people, people who want to improve & upskill themselves wherever possible.
