Are you a 3rd Line Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are a fast-growing Managed Services Provider, based in Wigan we are looking for a strong Junior IT Consultant to join the team. As a Junior IT Consultant, this role can offer you career technical experience and hands-on training. This is a customer-facing role where you as a Junior IT Consultant will advise and improve the structure and efficiency of IT systems in various organisations. Experience, Knowledge & Skills required: Min. 2-3 Years' experience in a Customer Facing Role Sound knowledge and experience in deployment, configuration and administration: Windows Server 2008/12/16/19 Microsoft Exchange 2010/13/16/19 Active Directory Office 365/Exchange Online VMware or Hyper-V Working knowledge of DNS/DHCP/Group Policy etc. Microsoft SQL Firewalls/ ATM/ Gateway and Endpoint Protection Networking - LAN / WLAN / WAN / SAN Back-up Solutions - Veeam, Backup Exec and Solarwinds Main Duties of the Junior IT Consultant: Meet with clients to determine requirements Work with clients to define the scope of a project Plan timescales and the resources needed Clarify a client's system specifications, understand their work practices and the nature of their business Travel to customer sites Liaise with staff at all levels of a client organisation Define software, hardware and network requirements Analyse IT requirements within companies and give independent and objective advice on the use of IT Develop agreed solutions and implement new systems Present solutions in written or oral reports Help clients with change-management activities In return, we can offer you an exciting career in a growing company with excellent salary upto £30k base Plus Car Allowance and benefits which includes: Pension, Parking and Paid Training and Qualifications plus more.
