Junior Software Developer - Teddington Salary. £25,000 - £32,000 Depending on Experience Full Time RSL Awards Ltd RSL is a leading International Music and Performance Arts exams board. Based in SW London we operate in over 50 countries around the world organising, adjudicating and certificating over 80,000 music and performing arts exams annually. These are supported by over 140 books in print, both online and in hardcopy format. The Role Reporting to the Head of IT, the Junior Software Developer will be part of a small Software Development Team managing the company website and backend data processing system using C# .Net architecture. We are looking for a Junior Software Developer who will convert and maintain our existing website. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Convert WordPress website to C# using our existing infrastructure and templates (No WordPress knowledge required) Maintain and develop new change requests to Front End Website and Back End system Influence the overall design of the system Document and report standardization Provide 3rd level support Monitor corrective and preventative actions The ideal Junior Software Developer: The ideal candidate will have experience with C# .Net, HTML and JavaScript but we are happy to provide training for any missing knowledge. You will also have: Degree level education JavaScript Knowledge of MVC and Domain Driven design will be an advantage Work Experience not required Person Specification: Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills Aptitude for problem analysis and problem solving Well presented, organised and hardworking Good at juggling tasks and prioritising workload Demonstrates good judgement Team player Ability to show initiative and develop the role RSL Awards Ltd is an equal opportunities employer.
