The position - As a Female Care Assistant, you will be assisting with a variety of life-enhancing tasks and requirements. These vary but include personal care tasks, meal preparation, night time monitoring, feeding and PEG care, social activities, completing MAR charts and seizure charts and any other services needed. The Service User Our service user is younger than 10 years old and has epilepsy and a range of differing complex care requirements. You will be assisting them with various tasks including night time monitoring for signs of seizures and when intervention is needed for his tracheostomy. Requirements It is highly desirable that you have prior experience caring for service users with tracheostomy however, any additional training required can be provided. You'll be an empathetic and compassionate caregiver, with experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You'll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility, and with a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You'll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required. Join us today
