Your new role You will join a team of software engineers and create bespoke custom technical solutions within a large range of projects. This includes interface solutions, command & control, geographic information systems (GIS), signals intelligence and more. As part of a growing solutions team, you will be responsible for delivering tasks to support the current and ongoing product portfolio. You will be expected to take ownership of the projects across multiple stages including planning, development and presenting proof of concept solutions to customers. The role will require travel but it is a home-working role. What you'll need to succeed You will have had a solid background within object-oriented software development (.NET/C#), as well as experience in systems development (HTTP REST, XML, JSON). You will have a track record in delivering solutions on time - thinking outside the box with new/innovative solutions is encouraged. This is also the same for candidates with a good balance of the soft and technical skills in their work. Experience/knowledge in the below is also required: - Database development (SQLite, PostgreSQL) - API's - TCP/IP networking - Understanding of the fundamentals of RF (Radio Frequency) - Relevant engineering/IT qualifications What you'll get in return You'll develop your career and will have the chance to lead and deliver bespoke software solutions across a range of sectors and work in a supportive environment.
