Finance Manager - £35,000 - £50,000 per annum - Bristol (Soon to be Aztec West)/Cardiff - Recruitment Red Recruitment are a bespoke recruitment consultancy based in Bristol and Cardiff who specialise in temporary, contract and permanent placements within professional services and contact centres. As an independent agency, Red have secured ongoing business with some of the most prominent businesses in the South Wales and South West region. In light of increased demand for our services as well as a continuation of growth within the business, a position has been created within the finance department for a talented Finance Manager to join the dynamic team. The Finance Manager, will oversee the finance function within the business and manage a small team. We are looking for an experienced or qualified Accountant to work closely with our Finance Supervisor and take responsibility for the Management Accounts, budgets and senior duties here at Red. The position will be based out of the Bristol office (Soon to be Aztec West) with some travel to Cardiff (approximately 2 days a week). Finance Manager responsibilities: Managing a team of three covering Sales and Purchase Ledger as well as Payroll processing Responsible for Cashflow Forecasting Preparation of four weekly management accounts Preparation of Board Pack to present to Directors Budget Preparation Completing VAT Returns Completing Balance Sheet reconciliations Handling Accruals and Prepayments Liaising with external auditors, banks as well as customers and suppliers Completing Ad Hoc MI Reports The successful candidate will be either qualified or qualified by experience but will have a proven record within a similar role. Excellent excel skills are a must as is the ability to travel between Bristol and Cardiff.
