Finance Director / CFO Bristol, England, United Kingdom (potential to work remotely) Full-Time, Permanent Salary: c.100,000 plus share options and benefits Opportunity Rovco is looking for a high calibre CFO or Finance Director to join our fast-growing Venture Capital backed technology business. With a core focus on delivering latest innovation, we embrace 3D computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies to revolutionise the mobile robotics sectors. We are an exciting company with a growing a team that work at the top of their game. Our headquarters are in Bristol with our Operational HQ in Edinburgh and we will be expanding to the US and South-East Asia over the next few years. Having recently closed a 5m series A investment round, the company is now VC backed and we are looking to strengthen our finance team with a CFO or Finance Director that has an enviable task legacy of adding value to early stage tech companies. This role will include identifying private equity partners, preparing the business for Series B and creating the processes, systems and MI that will drive continued growth. To be successful in this role, we are looking for an exceptional finance professional with experience of scaling technology-focused high-growth SMEs whilst working alongside institutional investors within a robotics, technology, engineering, or offshore energy related business. You will lead a finance team of 3 which you will mentor, coach and develop to enable solid delivery of your strategic plan and ensure that the company is reporting accurately and financially robust. Requirements We would expect to see evidence in your CV of: Degree in Finance, Economics or ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualifications Hands on technical modelling experience with excel Proven ability to deliver solid financial strategy to growth stage businesses Experience of working with investors Detailed knowledge of the fund-raising process Must have completed at least a Series A raise (B & C etc also accepted).
