Home based – commutable to North Manchester Customer Service Manager Our Client is a privately owned Telecoms business offering a complete range of telecoms products and services from landline and mobile through to full telephone systems, data networks and connectivity. In order to manage their growing portfolio of B2B accounts, they are looking for a new Customer Service Manager to join the team. About the Role The role is homebased (although you will need to be within a commutable distance of North Manchester) and you will be the first point of contact for all sales enquiries and service issues. The role requires the person to be self motivated and have the experience and knowhow to make quick decisions. You must be very organised as you will be managing a number of projects at any moment in time. If you do not have specific product knowledge, full training will be given. Duties and Responsibilities Manage all service requirements that may be raised by new or existing clients. Dealing with customer orders from start to finish by email and phone including arranging installations Submitting orders for all services to the relevant technology partners. Fault reporting on all products and services, and arranging engineer visits where required. Providing 1st line support for ADSL, FTTC, Hosted, Fibre Ethernet. If escalation is necessary liaising with Suppliers and Engineers. Experience Required Experience of working in a first line support / customer service role or possibly working as an account manager responsible for supporting a portfolio of B2B customers. Knowledge of working in a technology based business, ideally in the telecoms sector. Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Telecoms Platforms (WLR/Open Reach, Ability Billing Platform, Talk Talk, Daisy Wholesale Platform, Gamma Platform) would be a definite advantage, as well as using WLR 3 Portals and products including analogue Lines, ADSL, VOIP, FTTC, Data Circuits, Hosted Projects. A proven ability to work independently and able to adapt to changing situations quickly. All Necessary training will be provided so the ability to learn new technology is a must.
