Are you looking for an exciting role to take your career in Corporate Tax to the next level? One of our clients, a prestigious accountancy practice that we enjoy a long-term relationship with, is based in the heart of London and is currently expanding. They offer high-quality accounting services, planning and advice to a large and varied portfolio of clients focussing. They have over 70 staff, 8 Partners and have entrusted us with finding them a new CTA/ATT (ACCA/ACA accepted as well) qualified Corporate Tax Senior to join their growing team. To have the ideal profile for this Corporate Tax Senior role, you will be detail-orientated and have great communication skills. Advising clients on a range of subjects including the best manner to make payments, assessing if any interest, surcharges or penalties apply Some tax advisory and working with the Partners on more complex tax advisory projects Developing the company’s business; onboarding new clients, cross selling the firm’s other services such as business strategy and bookkeeping Working with a portfolio of corporate tax clients including listed companies, a large property group, a retail company with an international presence, a portfolio of owner managed businesses and other prestigious clients Supervising junior staff, being a source of guidance for them and reviewing their work, ensuring it is up to the firm’s high standard such as ensuring proper filing of CT returns Assisting with securing R&D credits and innovation reliefs Liaising with HMRC, acting on the behalf of clients to resolve queries on both ends relating to issues such as overpayments, deadlines, etc Handling client queries about their tax returns including Capital Gains tax advice This is a great opportunity for advancement because as the team’s new CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA qualified Corporate Tax Senior you will also be: Working closely with Senior Management Client facetime and a bonus structure for landing new clients, being part of the onboarding process Working with a wide variety of clients, many of which have been with the firm for decades About you: Preferably have knowledge of Xero, IRIS, TaxCalc or AlphaTax; other accounting systems a plus You will have at least 3 years of experience in an Accountancy Practice Qualified Corporate Tax Senior City of London £45,000-£52,000 plus great benefits package including health cover, flexitime and pension
