Overview
We have an exciting and unique opportunity to join a Global business in their stunning Cheltenham based offices in a Team Leader function. This role would suit someone with existing Insurance experience i.e. processing or claims and someone qualified to CII level. The successful candidate will be driven to achieve positive outcomes and develop and build teams. You will have the desire and ability to lead people and plan workloads. You will need a considerable amount of Technical; Knkowledge for this role: Will manage, review and monitor the activities of the teams ensuring Team Leaders successfully supervise the completion of workflow and be a credible first port of reference for the Divisional teams they are supporting. The successful candidates will require proven experience in leading teams coupled with technical knowledge in either North American Property or Financial Lines/MET across both functions of Premium and Claims processing. Your responsibilities: Resource Management - managing the work activities for the team by assessing workloads and setting team priorities, being one team People management - Manage, motivate, coach and develop the team striving for excellence at all times Service Delivery - ensuring all team functions are committed and providing the highest service delivery levels everyday by doing the right thing Technical - skills and knowledge required for Premium and Claims processing if required. Production of Management Information and reports Your skills & knowledge: Advanced knowledge of North American Property or Financial Lines/MET across both functions of Premium and Claims processing. Have the technical skills and knowledge required for a Technician - Expert or above level Proven people management experience Strong relationship builder Excellent project manager skills Able to monitor and co-ordinate team and team leader workflow Attainment of CII Diploma You’ll be good at: Customer Focus Communicating and Influencing Decision Making Information Seeking Planning and Organising Relationship Building Managing and improving Performance Individual and team development In addition to an excellent salary the role offers one of the best benefits packages locally.
