A brilliant new exclusive opportunity has been signed off today in the North West for a Senior Agile Delivery Manager for a great client of MRJ’s that’s currently on a super charged journey of growth in the UK and across Europe. Focused on providing an outstanding customer experience, this leader wants to: be different and bold; offer state of the art customer solutions; be at the forefront of technology; and demonstrate a different way of doing things. Working closely with the Head of Client Delivery and the senior leadership team, we are looking for an inspirational leader who will be fully responsible for devising and delivering the Software Engineering / Agile projects to a fast growing client base. You will be expected to: Inspire and lead from the front and be willing to push boundaries. Recruit, lead and drive the Engineering team (c. 10 - Engineers, QA, Product, Devops). Deliver a cloud-first vision across varied clients to perfectly blend people, processes and architecture. Drive & Build an agile delivery function and a culture of continuous integration and improvement. Own CxO level relationships ensuring that the technology & digital agenda is successfully delivered. PERSON Passionate in building world-class engineering teams, you will be a brilliant software leader with a passion for all things digital (Web, eCommerce, Mobile). An engineer at heart, with a cloud first approach, you will be highly focused on delivery, and want to take a leading role in driving & building a super charged engineering team. With experience working in a Consultancy or Software House (essential), you will need to offer experience in: Leading and managing a number of engineering teams / squads across several disciplines (.net, Front-End, Android, iOS) Delivering projects onsite and remotely Attracting, retaining and developing engineering talent Coaching engineers of all levels and Team Leads on a day-to-day basis Championing automated build and deployment with continuous integration Agile and Lean principles NEXT STEPS If you think you’re suitable for this role, please get in touch asap.
