Overview
Finance Manager at a Multi Academy Trust. Full-Time, Permanent. Required as soon as possible. Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 dependent upon experience. Are you looking for an exciting opportunity as a Finance Manager to join a newly established organisation in the very early stages of its growth? This is a new Finance Manager role and presents the chance for the post-holder to positively shape the finance function of an expanding trust. The Multi Academy Trust is a newly formed academy trust, led by a high performing senior leadership team with a proven track record of school improvement. The trust is a Department for Education (DfE) approved sponsor academy trust with trustees from other high performing trusts or associated industries. Our member academies will be either maintained schools that convert under a Directed Academy Order or existing academies that the DfE believes would benefit from being part of our Trust. Working directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Finance Manager will lead the operational aspects of the trust’s finance function and be responsible for managing the financial systems in trust schools. The successful candidate will ensure effective financial management and compliance across the trust, ensuring that all staff work within the financial framework, policies and procedures. The trustees are looking for candidates with experience in a senior finance role (preferably within a multi academy trust), coupled with excellent communication and analytical skills. Candidates will either be a qualified accountant or AAT qualified with significant experience. The successful candidate will be required to work in any of the schools/academies within the Trust, as directed by the CFO.
