Overview
This is a rare and exciting chance for a Client Finance Manager to join a leading independent media agency. Due to the success of the company, this position has arisen to lead a small team in a rapid phase of rapid growth. The position requires someone strong with systems and who is open to completing more hands on duties when necessary. Reporting directly to the FD, your key responsibilities will include: Managing and reporting client job profitability and revenue recognition Responsible for the five year planning and the budget process, including analysing business performance (revenue forecasting, utilisation, client profitability, trend analysis) Providing explanations on variances and business performance Maintaining relationships with key internal and external clients Presenting financial information and reports to non-finance stakeholders in the agency Creating new internal reporting and planning processes to improve the flow of financial information Supporting in the negotiation of commercial contracts and SOWs Critically analyse forecast/business plans & challenge assumptions with client MD's Managing a small Commercial Finance team Ideal candidate: Qualified ACCA/CIMA with relevant post-qualified experience, ideally in a creative services industry Strong modelling capabilities and advanced understanding of Excel Knowledge and experience of FP&A, specifically forecasting budgeting Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills Strong technical background Proven team management and leadership skills in previous role/s
