Overview
NRG are working exclusively with a leading service provider to recruit an experienced Solutions Architect. You will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical guidance developing comprehensive technical and service-based solutions for both new and existing customers. You will work closely with the Sales teams, Operations, and the Customer to develop appropriate solutions against requirements and business capabilities. Acting as the gateway between Sales and Operations, you will ensure that the solutions proposed are deliverable and meet the customers’ needs at the price point that is competitive. Experience Proven commercial experience as a Solutions Architect in the IT / Technology sector. Preferably in cloud, collocation, hosting or managed service industry. Extensive demonstrable experience in designing complex integrated solutions to deliver against the customer requirement, utilising Cloud, Network, and Managed Hosting services and technologies. Comprehensive commercial and business knowledge and experience. Detailed understanding and experience of enterprise network technologies and their application in multi-site datacentre organisations. Experience of providing a responsive, customer focused service. Extensive experience with Microsoft packages; Word, Excel and Power Point. Extensive experience of operating in virtual team environments. Experience with handling and prioritising multiple sales needs. Knowledge Professional sales training and sales process knowledge. Excellent understanding of all Cloud service technologies (Private and Public), managed hosting, network and collocation services and the impact it has in a business environment. Deep understanding of VMWare, Windows Server and Linux products and solutions, and their application in Cloud (inc. Public Cloud) and Managed Hosting services. Excellent technical knowledge of common software packages including design, use and implementation within a manager service context. Broad area of expertise in the realms of Managed Hosting and Cloud Services, hardware, operating systems, networking and software. Excellent understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate these into project deliverables.
