Overview

Job Title: Head Chef Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Location: Leicester Who will you be working for? An independent hospitality venue who are opening a brand-new site close to Leicester. With venues across the Midlands, they offer premium casual dining options to tourists and locals alike. What are we looking for? A creative but operationally focussed Head Chef who is eager to be part of the opening for this flagship multi-outlet venue. You’ll ideally come from a high-volume, fresh branded operation, be confident in getting involved with menu development as well as ensuring all aspects of BOH run as smoothly as possible. You’ll also be confident in training groups of staff, perhaps you’ve even been a chef trainer/lecturer in the past. Desirable Qualities: A minimum 5 years as Head Chef within a high volume branded/casual dining environment Be operationally focussed but with a desire to come up with innovative menu items Ideally have had experience working in a FOH role in the past Possess excellent knowledge of health & hygiene and food safety practices Be a natural leader and get the best of out of your team by leading from the front Have previous experience working with both food and beer – perhaps created menus pairing the two Have fantastic communication skills and be able to build and maintain effective relationships across the business Does this sound like you?
