Overview

Head of Finance & Operations Kingston £67,000 Full Time, Permanent This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and ambitious accountant to work closely with the Senior Leadership team to help shape the organisations wider strategic plan. This is a key role within the organisation and will have further line management responsibility for 2 further functions including IT in addition to finance. Overall team of 6 people Key Responsibilities Business Planning & Financial strategy Co-ordinate and manage the annual budget process Produce accurate management accounts on a timely basis including variance analysis Preparation of Group Statutory accounts Preparation of VAT/liaison with HMRC Manage monthly payroll Develop and maintain internal controls Ensure that appropriate finance policies and procedures are implemented and reviewed Experience Qualified Accountant At least 5 years experience of managing finance teams Experience of a membership organisation would be desirable but not essential A team player with a passion for excellence Well developed communication skills.
