Overview
The role We offer specialist insurance to contractors, consultants, freelancers, self-employed professionals, small charities and community groups. We offer a wide range of insurance cover, including professional indemnity, public liability, employers liability, D&O, property, occupational personal accident, legal representation and employment cover, and cyber. We transact business directly with customers through our website, where customers can get a quote and purchase cover online, as well as through our team of insurance experts assisting customers over the telephone. We have ambitious growth plans to increase our presence in our target sectors. Key accountabilities Performing simple alterations on policies, including cancellations and mid-term amendments Handling customer payment administration, including contacting customers who have defaulted on direct debit payments, contacting customers whose card details have expired, producing invoices and contacting customers to chase payment for their policy Answering straightforward customer queries over email and website Live Chat Handling printing of letters and policy documentation Updating client name, address and marketing opt-in records on our policy administration system and direct debit system Transcribing voicemails left for our Sales and Service team Sending review/feedback invitations to customers who have purchased a policy from us Handling administrative aspects of our Refer a Friend scheme Running Excel-based reports for our Credit Control team Skills & experience Excellent numeracy and literacy skills Experience of using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and Word Drive and enthusiasm for meeting deadlines Customer-focused approach and attention to detail Confident communicator on telephone and email Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work in a team
