Overview
Sales Manager - Controls Systems and Electronics Covering the UK, Scotland and Ireland Leeds £50-55k Sales Manager with experience in Control systems and sensors for the ATEX / industrial applications required for a target driven sales role managing a small team overseeing territories both in the UK, Ireland and supporting distributors worldwide. Confident experience of managing a sales team, proactive business development and account management essential. Your role as the Electronic Sales Manager your responsibilities include: ·Sales , account management and customer visits in UK and Ireland selling into OEM's and end-users ·Business development of the UK and Ireland market ·Establishing sales funnel process and strategy for maintaining key accounts and sales growth ·Management of one technical sales engineer ·Project management of turn-key installations ·Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland ·Occasional long-haul travel is possible ·Reporting to Group Head of Electronics Department As the Electronics Sales Manager you will: ·Have extensive sales experience into the industrial market place selling into OEM's, end users and distributors ·Have proven history of sales team building, training and management ·Have good understanding of RAMS definition process and working in accordance with best H&S guidance recommended ·ATEX and SIL standards understanding is recommended ·Hold BEng / BSc degree in Electronics engineering ·Have strong command of written and spoken English ·Any other languages are beneficial ·Hold a UK or EU driving license The company specialises in development, manufacture and sales of safety electronic sensors and systems for industrial applications in explosive environments, often working on new and innovative technologies like real time and cloud as well as wireless and other innovative sensing techniques. You will work with a friendly and well established team for a long standing business with an excellent reputation and low staff turnover. They will provide one to one training both in the UK and US and the opportunity to travel regularly in the UK, Europe and worldwide to visit customers and provide support where necessary.
