As a ScrumMaster, you will be working with distributed Scrum teams in the UK, US, and abroad to deliver new software applications vital to the strategy of Imagine Communication’s host of media products. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with offshore team members, onsite team members, and onsite coordinators Work closely with other scrum masters to implement and follow company standards for Agile excellence. Facilitate meetings for the teams, including preparing, moderating and post-processing the meeting results. o Facilitate and educate the team on all Agile Ceremonies o Any other meeting identified as necessary by the teams Maintain Scrum tools - Task Board, Burndown chart, Product Backlog, etc. Manage and track progress using JIRA Assist the Product Owners in grooming the Product Backlog Report meaningful, appropriate, and timely information to management Help the Team identify and address all impediments o Work with external teams on whom the Team has dependencies o Report risks and mitigation suggestions to product management on a regular basis Help the Team and Product Owner(s) establish and maintain a Definition of Done and Definition of Ready Facilitate collaboration with other Scrum Masters and Product/Project Managers within the organization to discuss and utilize cross product features and functionalities. Mediate conflicts and facilitate open communication between Product and Development Cultivate, as a servant leader, a culture that reflects the values of SAFe Agile and Scrum (alignment, quality, transparency, and execution) Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical area. (Extensive industry experience and demonstrable knowledge may be used to replace this requirement). SAFe certification or practice of equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in software application project management Proven record delivering software from inception to deployment using structured development practices and methodologies 3 years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment Highly-organized, flexible, and insightful Demonstrable communication skills Extra Credit (The Stuff (that sets you apart from the others): Experience working in an outsourced, offshoring model and/or with geographically distributed teams Jira; Agile process templates, workflow and planning tools CSP, CST, or other additional Scrum certifications Active in the local Scrum community Technical background preferable but not required Broadcast industry knowledge Imagine Communications offers an engaging team-oriented culture and a competitive compensation/benefits package.
