Overview

Churchill Howard is recruiting for a Group Finance Manager for a listed PLC based in North Birmingham. Working for the Group Finance Director the purpose of the role is to minimise financial risk in the Group, maximise returns on cash, and ensure banking facilities are equipped to allow flexibility for the business to meet its commercial and financial objectives. Responsibilities include: To act as a business partner to the Group Accounting functions and wider business Manage the transaction finance team (purchase ledger) of 10 people. Ensure adequate funding and liquidity for the Group Manage the interest rate risk of the debt Manage cash balances and invest surplus cash Manage the clearing bank operations of the Group Manage counterpart risks Manage external relationships Manage Foreign Exchange Risks on non-sterling cash-flows Undertake ad-hoc duties to including steering committee meetings and management of company credit cards. The organisation is looking for a high calibre qualified accountant (ACA preferred) with leadership qualities, credibility and the ability to drive change with a positive mindset. On offer is a salary of up to £75,000 competitive benefits package.
