Overview
Followed a sustained period of growth and further success, our client, a large multinational service business in the Cheshire area, as they seek to appoint an experienced Treasury Manager. Reporting to the Head Of Group Treasury, the Treasury Manager will effectively manage the groups various funding facilities, monitor and the manage the key financial risks from multinational operations and help develop and implement projects to further develop the treasury and its strategic support to the rest of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Lending Facilities - Management and administration of the main UK & EU lending facilities including drawdown requests, borrowing base submission and regular reporting Internal Funding - Management of group intercompany funding structure and custody of applicable documentation Risk Management - Monitor and report on key treasury risks to include foreign exchange and interest rate. Execution of spot and forward trades to cover cash flow currency exposure Treasury Management System - Implementation and management of the applicable risk & fraud monitoring modules within the groups TMS. Treasury Reporting - Monthly reporting on treasury activity for the group as a whole and development of KPI framework. Treasury Projects -Key part of treasury based projects when required such as development of TMS interfaces, streamlining of payment processing as the treasury function develops Regulation & Compliance reporting - Ensure compliance with various banking related regulations, coordinating the groups counter party screening tool and acting as key point of contact for Know Your Customer checks with external parties. Cover for Cash & Banking - When necessary, deputise for the cash and banking manager to assess the daily funding requirement and update cash projections accordingly Back Office Management - working with the treasury assistance to ensure relevant bank office activity / reporting is competed Requirements: Preferably ACT qualified / part qualified Alternatively Professional finance / accounting qualification. (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) 3 years experience in a corporate treasury environment. Experience of implementing / using a Treasury Management System is preferable Sound understanding of foreign exchange risk and mitigation tools Can demonstrate strong Excel skills with management of high volumes data Strong communication skills including networking with internal and external parties Used to leading or holding key role in treasury development projects This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Treasury professional to work for a large multi-national organisation that offers an excellent, friendly working environment.
