Overview
Role - Senior Treasury Accountant Location - Warrington Salary - £58,000 - £70,000 car allowance FJR Finance are exclusively recruiting for an instantly recognisable services organisation in their search for a Senior Treasury Accountant to work out of their office based in Warrington. The Senior Treasury Accountant will need to be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with a strong academic background or have taken their Treasury examinations. Previous experience of treasury is essential as is the ability to advise and influence key operational decision makers. Advanced Excel skills will be crucial as the Senior Treasury Accountant will be expected to perform some complex financial modelling. A history of building relationships with banks, investors, financial institutions is also a key requisite. Key duties for the role will include the following - Managing and developing cash flow forecast and models - Detailed analysis of actual versus forecast variances, developing a deep understanding of the cash flow drivers to the Group and the relationship between cash flow and commercial performance and operations - Assessment of daily, weekly and monthly cash flows and immediate liquidity requirements - Management of and compliance with debt, asset backed finance and leasing facilities - Communication and interface with the finance providers, trade credit insurers, professional advisors and colleagues at all levels around the business - Management of cash and treasury team of three - Systems and process developments both with treasury and through the broader group - Supporting the Interim Group Treasurer in ad hoc exercises and further development of the function Salary is anywhere between £58,000 and £70,000 car allowance and additional benefits A newly formed position this role has a direct progression plan and will be the key Treasurer for the organisation within 18 months.
